Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established and family-owned business based in Bury. Established in 2003, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer service across Lancashire and Yorkshire and represents several leading automotive brands. This full-time office-based role will support the busy Accounts Team and would suit a detail-oriented individual with previous accounts experience and strong systems knowledge.
Duties & Responsibilities
Bank reconciliations and posting daily bank entries
Allocation of sales ledger receipts and vehicle payments
Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
Managing supplier statements and account queries
Supporting the wider Accounts team with general finance administration
What Experience is Required
Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Bookkeeping position
Good Excel skills with excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
Experience using Pinewood Pinnacle, Kerridge or previous motor trade experience would be desirable
