We are looking for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers
Nights Monday to Friday £17-£19.05, Saturday £18-£20.17, Sunday £19-£21.29 (higher rates include holiday pay)
Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas including Newport and Bridgend due to multiple contracts
Immediate start
Shift: 1600-2000 starts, average 12hr shifts
Ongoing work, adhoc work, weekends.
JDR Recruitment are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night Drivers to join our clients team based in Cardiff and surrounding areas including Newport and Bridgend.
The role:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll be responsible for operating an HGV Class 1 Lorry to carry out collections and deliveries, ensuring safe loading/unloading, and providing an excellent service on site.
You will possibly need to attend a driving assessment before assignment which can be arranged asap. This is client dependent.
Your key responsibilities will be:-
* Driving and operating a HGV Class 1 Lorry in line with safety standards
* Carrying out site collections and deliveries
* Ensuring vehicle checks are completed daily
* Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach
About you:
As an HGV Class 1 Driver you will have the following skills and experience:
* Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence (held for a min 6 months to 2 years dependent on contract)
* HGV Class 1 Driving experience and the ability to successfully pass a driving assessment if required by contract
* Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
* Strong focus on safety and customer service
