Job Summary
This post is for a Breast Radiologist. Consideration would be made for those candidates wishing to include general radiology and negotiable on‑call within the job plan. The radiology department at BHT is highly regarded within the Trust as an approachable and innovative department, consistently achieving the highest score in the Oxford radiology registrars feedback in the past decade in the regional programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Full‑time consultant radiologist with 10 programmed activities focused on breast and cross‑sectional imaging.
* Experience in both screening and symptomatic breast imaging is essential.
* Work on the High Wycombe Hospital site and other sites as required.
* Support and develop subspecialty radiology skills while maintaining general radiology practice.
* Deliver access to imaging services and support role extension within the department.
Required Experience
* Consultant level radiology training with an interest in breast and cross‑sectional imaging.
* Strong background in breast imaging, including screening and symptomatic cases.
* Capacity to work on multiple sites and integrate into a team of 20 consultant radiologists.
