Responsibilities
* Provide 2nd line IT support to staff, students, and visitors on campus.
* Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT issues, maintaining smooth university operations.
* Apply IT Service Management principles and stay current with computing technologies.
* Participate in scheduled training and development programmes.
* Maintain accurate incident records and follow SOPs for support requests.
Requirements
* Hold an HNC/HND, Foundation degree, NVQ Level 4 or equivalent with relevant ICT content, or be in the final six months of such a programme.
* Demonstrate experience in 2nd level ICT support, incident and service request management.
* Show competence in problem analysis, resolution, and configuration of hardware and software, including portable devices.
* Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
* Be able to work on campus; hybrid or remote options are not offered.
