Role and Responsibilities
As a New Build Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the end-to-end construction of fibre networks for new build and multi-dwelling unit (MDU) developments. This role involves building and connecting fibre networks from the cabinet through to the end user, ensuring a reliable and high-quality installation. You will be responsible for the external infrastructure on single dwelling units (SDUs) and the internal infrastructure within MDUs. Key tasks include the installation of fibre cabling, splicing, and end user installs/testing to meet industry standards and project specifications. You’ll work closely with the project coordination team to ensure timely completion of network build phases while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Install and build fibre network infrastructure from cabinet to end user.
· Conduct installations on both SDUs (external infrastructure) and MDUs (internal infrastructure).
· Perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure network integrity and quality.
· Coordinate with project teams to meet timelines and ensure compliance with industry standards.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations throughout the construction process.

Requirements

· Full UK driver’s license for 6 months with less than 6 points. (Must have)
· Must be 21 or over for insurance purposes. (Must have)
