School Caretaker - Brighton (BN1) Location: Brighton, BN1 Pay Rate: £14.13 per hour Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 DBS Required We're currently recruiting for a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join a friendly school site in Brighton. Key Responsibilities: Locking and unlocking the school site Conducting perimeter and security checks Handling deliveries and moving equipment as needed Setting up meeting rooms and event spaces Performing basic repairs and general maintenance Liaising with external contractors Conducting fire safety and compliance checks Requirements: Previous caretaker or maintenance experience preferred A valid DBS check or willingness to apply for one Good communication and problem-solving skills Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take on a stable and hands-on role within a school environment.
