We are seeking a dedicated Account Executive with a proven track record in B2B sales and a passion for driving growth in the SaaS landscape. Your role will involve growing our Commercial account base, closing deals of various sizes, and building strong relationships with new and existing customers to expand Zendesk's impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
1. Drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and developing account expansion strategies.
2. Manage and nurture customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and strategic growth.
3. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to increase account revenue.
4. Use data insights to prospect new clients and improve retention strategies.
5. Communicate the benefits of Zendesk products aligning with customer goals.
6. Lead complex sales cycles with strong communication and value selling.
7. Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and forecast accurately to meet revenue targets.
8. Build relationships with decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
9. Collaborate internally to improve sales strategies and execution.
10. Achieve and surpass revenue goals through regular KPI tracking.
What You Bring to the Role:
1. BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum 3 years of B2B sales or solution engineering experience, preferably in SaaS.
3. Proven success in navigating complex sales cycles and renewals.
4. Experience managing and expanding customer relationships at various levels.
5. Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
6. Experience selling to VP and C-level executives, both in person and remotely.
7. Entrepreneurial mindset, collaboration skills, and a drive for growth.
8. Strong industry knowledge and relationship-building abilities.
9. Experience with territory and account planning.
10. Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Clari.
11. Willingness to travel as needed.
