Job Description
3. Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
4. Manage budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
5. Oversee cost control measures and identify opportunities for efficiencies.
6. Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance reporting.
7. Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
8. Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
9. Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes.
11. IFRS15 Revenue Recognition knowledge would be advantageous.
The Successful Applicant
12. Qualified Accountant / Newly Qualified Accountant
13. The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
14. Excellent communication skills
15. Strong numeric and analytical skills
16. Ability to understand and manipulate data - to include strong Excel ability
17. Ability to present clear and concise financial messages.
18. Solid accounting technical skills
19. Ability to build good stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
20. Any experience gained in a similar Engineering/ Projects environment would be an advantage.
