Join PEM’s Virtual Finance Office (VFO), a dynamic team of 38 delivering innovative, cloud‑based services including bookkeeping, management reporting, credit control and wider finance support to a diverse client base. As a bookkeeper, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting client reporting, and helping businesses run smoothly day to day.
This role is primarily based on‑site at our Milton, Cambridgeshire office, with hybrid working options available.

Audit Manager – Charities & Non‑profit
Are you passionate about making a difference and looking for a challenging yet rewarding role? We’re seeking an Audit Manager to join our dedicated team specialising in charities and not‑for‑profit.
As an Audit Manager, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of clients with turnovers typically from £1 million up to £20 million. You’ll lead audits from planning to completion, working closely with senior managers and trustees, and provide specialist audit and business advisory services to more than 250 charities and non‑profits in the UK.

Assistant Director – Private Clients
We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Director to join our respected Private Clients team. You will work alongside Directors and Partners to deliver bespoke tax advice and innovative planning solutions for high‑net‑worth individuals and their families, aiding in business development and meeting our 2030 strategy.
Tax Manager (Advisory) – Private Clients
As a Private Client Tax Manager, you will focus on providing bespoke tax advisory projects for high‑net‑worth clients, identifying new business opportunities, and mentoring junior members. Candidates should possess a CTA qualification, or equivalent, with proven post‑qualification experience in personal tax advice.
Trust Manager – Private Clients
Join our existing trust team as a Trust Manager, working alongside the wider Private Client Team to achieve our firm’s strategic goals. You will manage a diverse portfolio of trusts and estates, provide compliance support, and deliver advisory projects. Experience with onshore trusts is essential; offshore experience is a plus. Formal qualifications such as CTA, STEP, or CILEX are preferred, but Qualified by Experience applicants are also welcomed.
