Senior Social Worker - Children in Care (CIC) Team (Bradford Trust)

Bradford Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our dedicated Children in Care (CIC) team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support vulnerable young people and help them achieve positive outcomes.
About the Role:
Manage a complex caseload of children in care, providing high-quality support and advocacy.Develop and implement person-centered care plans, ensuring the needs of each child are met.Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.Provide supervision and mentorship to junior social workers, promoting best practice and professional development.Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to coordinate services and ensure positive outcomes for children.Contribute to service development and improvement initiatives within the team.
Requirements:
Registered with Social Care England.Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Significant experience working with children in care is essential. Experience in a supervisory or senior role is highly desirable.Excellent communication, assessment, and case management skills.Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to children in care.Ability to build rapport and trust with young people and their families.Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
