Responsive Repair Supervisor
Location: High Wycombe
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week + Call Out & Overtime

Overview:
We are recruiting for a hands-on Working Supervisor to support a social housing provider delivering responsive maintenance and project works across occupied residential properties.
This role combines trade expertise with day-to-day supervision. You will lead from the front, supporting a team of operatives while ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and compliance standards.
The Role
You will manage a team of approximately 12-13 operatives, acting as the first point of contact for operational matters and ensuring service delivery meets KPI, compliance, and resident satisfaction targets.
Supervision & Work Delivery
1. Supervise works through regular site visits, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on time, and to specification
2. Act as the main operational contact within your area, escalating issues where required
3. Monitor operative performance including productivity, quality of work, tablet usage, and timekeeping
4. Carry out quality assurance checks on completed jobs
5. Provide technical support, fault diagnosis, and assistance with complex repairs
6. Support parts logistics and provide hands-on site assistance where required
7. Assist in resolving customer complaints and service-related issues
Health, Safety & Compliance
8. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation including CDM Regulations and COSHH
9. Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
10. Maintain accurate H&S records including permits, near-miss logs, and incident reporting
11. Promote a proactive safety culture across the team
12. Complete weekly checks on tools, equipment, and materials
13. Ensure accurate and timely updates are recorded on the CAFM/job management system
About You
We are looking for a credible, hands-on supervisor with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to lead from the front in occupied domestic properties.
Essential Requirements:
14. SSSTS (minimum) - SMSTS desirable
15. Valid CSCS Supervisor Card
16. Recognised trade qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3)
17. Proven experience as a Working Supervisor / Working Foreman in responsive maintenance
18. Experience in occupied residential repairs, including urgent works and in-day replanning
19. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
20. Experience working in KPI-driven environments focused on quality and compliance
21. Experience using CAFM/job management systems (e.g. Maximo, Optimise)
22. Full UK Driving Licence
23. Eligible for, or currently holding, Security Clearance (SC)
