Overview
We now have a fantastic opportunity for Class Teachers to join our close-knit team at Wessex Lodge School, part of Acorn Education. As a dynamic and motivated qualified teacher, you will respond to the needs of individuals with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs, helping them flourish and thrive. You will plan and deliver engaging learning daily, developing exciting and innovative methods that stimulate interest and excitement in the classroom. Working as a Teacher with us enables creativity, with access to extensive resources and expert support from Outcomes First Group. You will observe, monitor and assess our students, ensuring their personal development and wellbeing are as important as the academic curriculum.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences on a daily basis for pupils with autism, learning difficulties and complex needs.
* Observe, monitor and assess student progress, focusing on personal development and wellbeing alongside the academic curriculum.
* Develop and employ innovative teaching methods to stimulate interest and engagement in the classroom.
* Foster caring relationships with pupils and liaise with fellow professionals within the school and external educational settings.
Qualifications
* UK QTS or equivalent
