What Makes This Role Exciting The Director, Strategic Pursuits & Messaging will define and lead how CloudPay shows up to the outside world. You will own the stories we tell, the way we win, and the proof points that make CloudPay shine. You will lead our Bid and Sales Content teams to deliver world-class proposals, campaigns and messaging that capture the power of CloudPay’s technology, our partner ecosystem, and our purpose. This role requires both creativity and precision — a confident storyteller who can turn complex global payroll and payments concepts into clear, compelling, high-impact narratives that win. Main Responsibilities Pursuit & Proposal Leadership Lead and manage CloudPay’s global Bid Team, ensuring every submission represents the very best of our brand, technology and service. Drive adoption and process optimization of our RFP automation platform (Loopio) to increase deal velocity and message consistency. Provide vision, process discipline, and leadership to cross-functional pursuit teams across Sales, Product, and Marketing. Standardize proposal processes globally for efficiency and scalability. Analyze win/loss outcomes, proposal metrics, and market intelligence to continuously refine strategies and improve results. Define and track pursuit KPIs (win rate, deal size, proposal conversion, content utilization), partnering with Sales Operations to link commercial performance. Drive the creation of reusable content, templates, case studies and proof points to increase speed and win rates. Sales Content & Messaging Ownership Own the global sales content strategy — from pitch decks and case studies to capability statements and partner collateral. Ensure every piece of CloudPay content aligns to our brand, voice and vision: “Global payroll that performs.” Build a unified CloudPay narrative that connects technology, people and results — across sales, marketing and alliances. Create a scalable content architecture built on reusable components, standardized templates, and adaptable messaging blocks - enabling faster proposal development, consistent storytelling, and efficient localization across regions. Leverage AI-driven tools such as our existing enablement platform (Seismic) to streamline and automate content creation, collaboration, product launches and personalized proposal creation. Partner Strategy Content & GTM Enablement Collaborate with alliance and partner leaders (Workday, SAP, Oracle, G-P, etc.) to produce world-class joint messaging and sales tools. Create content that brings our partner ecosystem to life — positioning CloudPay as the connector that completes the HCM. Ensure partner and GTM messaging reflects regional nuances and aligns with global priorities. Thought Leadership & Brand Elevation Lead CloudPay’s external voice across key markets — through awards, submissions, and executive content that strengthens our leadership position. Be the guardian of CloudPay’s tone, proof points and storytelling across every channel. Drive alignment between Sales, Marketing, Product and Partnerships around one message and one brand standard. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead, coach and inspire a high-performing team of bid writers, content managers and storytellers. Foster a culture of creativity, accountability and excellence. Work hand-in-hand with Marketing, Product and Sales Leadership to ensure our content delivers measurable results. Establish global pursuit frameworks and operating rhythms that balance brand consistency with regional agility. Technology, Tools & AI Drive adoption and integration of RFP automation (Loopio) and enablement platforms such as Seismic to improve proposal quality, efficiency, and collaboration across internal teams and clients. Leverage and drive AI capabilities in these platforms to optimize content personalization, analyze usage, generate insights, and explore emerging technologies to enhance pursuit strategy and proposal innovation. Integrate sales content across sales and marketing systems (e.g. CRM) to ensure the right content is surfaced at the appropriate stage of the buyer journey, enabling strong positioning throughout the sales process Track adoption, usage, and AI-driven impact of content enablement and automation tools. Experience Needed For This Role Proven experience leading Bid, Proposal, or Sales Content functions in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment. Outstanding writing, storytelling and content strategy skills — able to make complex propositions clear, compelling and human. Deep understanding of enterprise sales cycles and how content influences pipeline and conversion. Experience working with partner ecosystems (HCM, ERP or payroll highly desirable). Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire teams and win stakeholder trust.
