Overview:
We are looking for a commercially driven and purpose-led Relationship Manager to generate new leads, build networks, grow existing client accounts, and manage long-term relationships. Acting as the bridge between talented delivery teams and the market, you will identify organisations that align with the agency’s values and capabilities. This role suits a strategic thinker and doer who thrives on relationships, energises conversations, and leverages tools like Salesforce, marketing automation, and LinkedIn to fuel sustainable, meaningful growth. You will expand market presence by engaging new prospects and existing clients, helping purposeful organisations innovate through digital.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales Growth
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities across sectors aligned with the agency’s values and services.
* Use LinkedIn and digital channels for proactive outreach, thought leadership, and connection building.
* Develop compelling proposals and tailored sales pitches aligned to client needs.
* Take ownership of the sales pipeline, consistently hitting or exceeding revenue targets.
* Collaborate with delivery and strategy teams to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Client Engagement & Account Expansion
* Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and growth.
* Conduct regular reviews and strategic check-ins to identify new opportunities and future-proof relationships.
* Act as a client advocate internally, ensuring consistent value delivery and alignment.
* Use CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) to manage leads, track opportunities, and report on sales performance.
* Leverage marketing automation and email sequencing tools to scale outreach and nurture prospects.
* Continuously optimise sales processes using performance data and best practices.
Market Presence & Networking
* Represent the agency at industry events, networking opportunities, and sector meetups.
* Actively engage in professional groups and communities—both online and in-person—to enhance visibility and credibility.
* Stay up to date on market trends, competitor activity, and evolving client challenges to shape strategy.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
* Proven success in B2B business development or sales within digital, tech, or creative environments.
* Experience using LinkedIn for outreach, lead generation, and professional networking.
* Proficient in CRM tools (preferably Salesforce) and automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach).
* Excellent written/verbal communication, pitch delivery, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Consultative approach able to translate client challenges into digital solutions.
* Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and performance-oriented.
Preferred:
* Experience with purpose-driven or mission-led organisations.
* Strong understanding of digital transformation, UX, software development, and strategic consultancy.
* Passionate about aligning commercial growth with positive impact.
Experience:
* Minimum 3 years in business development, sales, or hybrid client services role.
* Proven ability to close deals and build client value in digital or creative agency settings.
* Cross-functional experience working with delivery, design, and marketing teams.
