Pertemps are proud to be recruiting on behalf of AQA for a handsâon Scanner Support Technician to join their Product Assembly and Support (PAS) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong technical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to support bespoke, inâhouse designed scanning equipment.

â About the Role As a Scanner Support Technician, youâll work as part of a skilled technical team supporting AQAâs inâhouse scanners within their busy scanning centre. Youâll provide operator support, complete servicing tasks, carry out basic repairs, and ensure the scanners are performing accurately and efficiently.
This role requires a strong team player who can deliver highâquality work with accuracy, consistency, and excellent communication.
đ§ Key Responsibilities
* Provide user support to operators using AQAâs bespoke scanning equipment.
* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on scanners.
* Perform basic repairs to equipment as required.
* Log faults, resolutions, and technical details accurately.
* Support the technical team in maintaining smooth and efficient scanning operations.

* Willingness to work overtime and shifts when required.
* A supportive, collaborative team approach.
Desirable
* Experience supporting products that transport paper such as:
o Scanners
o Printers
o Photocopiers
