As a Forensic Medical Examiner, you will learn through clinical placements and blended learning, supported by an allocated mentor.
We will develop an individualised programme of education and clinical exposure, offering examination opportunities and financial support.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out medical and forensic examinations according to Mountain Healthcare guidelines and within your professional scope.
* Assist the Court with medico-legal matters.
* Practice as an independent medical practitioner with clinical judgment.
* Treat all service users courteously, providing appropriate care.
* Stay informed of relevant guidelines and publications by the British Medical Association.
* Understand and be sensitive to the child's developmental, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

Job description
We are seeking a Sexual Offences Examiner/Experienced Forensic Physician for Midlands. This role is part of our Forensic Medical Programme, offering unique training in forensic medicine, especially relevant for careers in A&E, GP, paediatrics, or psychiatry.

Person Specification
Qualifications:
* Medical degree & Foundation Training
* UK residency for 3+ years for police checks
Desirable:
* Diploma in Legal Medicine
* Membership of FFLM
Experience:
* Basic Life Support, experience in acute settings
* Interest in Sexual Health, experience in A&E, paediatrics, obstetrics, research, or audits
