If so, we'd love to meet you. We are recruiting dedicated Female Specialist Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support within a bespoke, relationship-based support package. This is an opportunity to be part of a carefully designed service that focuses on trust, consistency, and improving quality of life through positive, meaningful support. About the role As a Specialist Support Worker, you will provide one-to-one support to a female both at home and in the community, helping to promote wellbeing, independence, and engagement in activities that are important to the individual you support. You will play a key role in building trusting relationships, supporting emotional wellbeing, and creating a calm, predictable environment. The role requires patience, adaptability, and a person-centred approach, working collaboratively with family members and professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality support. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working creatively, thinking independently, and making a lasting impact through consistent, relationship-led support. No two days are the same, and you will be supported through ongoing training, mentoring, and professional development. What We're Looking For We are looking for compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient individuals who are committed to building long-term, trusting relationships. You will be calm, reflective, and able to provide consistent support, even during challenging situations. Experience supporting individuals with Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, trauma-informed support, or behaviours of distress would be beneficial but is not essential. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your values, and your commitment to delivering exceptional support.
