SEN TA' - Gidea Park, Romford An opportunity has arisen for an individual who is passionate about education and childcare to join a primary school within the London Borough of Havering. We are looking to recruit an eager, professional, and motivated individual to work on a 1:1 basis with an SEN pupil. It is a temporary position that has the ability to go permanent for the right candidate. You will: Be given the opportunity to work with children aged 011 years old on a 1:1 basis. Students have a range of SEN needs. You will help provide personal progression and academic support by following the relevant safeguarding or EHCP plans. You will need to be a team player willing to collaborate with colleagues to continue to meet the standards required for these children to progress. You must be willing to do personal care. You will need to be flexible and willing to work in challenging environments. Candidate requirements: Successful candidates MUST have experience working with SEN students especially SLD, PMLD, AUT, ASD. If you have experience using Makaton, PECS, or are Team Teach trained, please do not hesitate to apply. You will have a confident and positive attitude as well as strong interpersonal skills and will be proactive and use initiative. You will hold an enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be willing to process a new one through Classroom Teachers.
