Role and location
Sketchley School are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join our Therapy team working across three sites: Sketchley Hall, Burbage; Progression House, Hinckley; Forest House, Narborough.
Team and duties
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our therapy team. The successful candidate will join a multi-disciplinary team, which may suit someone experienced in a special needs environment or newly qualified, who will be required to work closely with other Speech and Language Therapists and other professionals providing support to students; reporting to the Therapy Manager.
Contract
This role will be contracted to 42 weeks per year broken down into 38 weeks of term time, 5 training days (inset days) then 15 days over the school holidays as directed by the Multi-site Headteacher.

About Sketchley Hall School
Sketchley Hall School is an independent specialist day school located across three sites in South Leicestershire. We provide full-time education for up to 80 pupils and post-16 students aged 8 to 19 years. All pupils have a diagnosis of autism and most have additional social, emotional or mental health needs. In addition to supporting pupils through Key Stages 2, 3 and 4 at Sketchley Hall and Forest House, we have also built strong relationships with a range of colleges and provide further support to our post-16 cohort based at Progression House.
Education and pathways
Learners have the opportunity to access a variety of courses whilst based at Progression House, which also enables them to achieve English & Mathematics up to GCSE level or equivalent. Those who do not attend college have a broad in-house Curriculum offering, allowing for both academic and personal development.

Qualifications and attributes
