GSL Education are seeking a dynamic Drama Teacher to work in schools across Barnsley (S70, S71), delivering engaging and imaginative lessons that encourage confidence and creativity. As a Drama Teacher, you will inspire pupils to explore performance, script work, improvisation, and stagecraft while building communication skills and self-expression. Key Duties: Plan and deliver engaging drama lessons as a Drama Teacher. Encourage creativity, teamwork, and confidence through performance activities. Support school productions and extracurricular drama opportunities. Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification. Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting. Strong classroom management and organisational skills. A passion for the performing arts and student development. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
