Join our team at Menzies Distribution Solutions Ltd in Clitheroe. We are looking for a Transport Administrator with prior transport-related administration and customer service experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.

* Salary: £12,698 Per Annum
* Pattern: Monday To Friday
* Hours Per Week: 20 Hours
* Hours: 09:00-13:00 (negotiable)
* Holiday Allowance: 10 Days plus Bank Holidays, if applicable

Key Duties and Accountabilities
* Engage internal and external customers by communicating in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a good impression at all times.
* Answer all incoming calls/emails promptly and politely.
* Handle all customer queries or concerns in a professional, friendly and courteous manner.
* Liaise with the management team to ensure the smooth operation of the transport department.
* Monitor and chase documentation to support transport operations.
* Produce statistics as and when required.
* Undertake administrative and filing duties to meet the needs of the Transport Department.
* Process customer orders ensuring quality accuracy, delivery timelines, instructions and communication to all depot staff.
* Handle customer and supplier enquiries and complaints from investigation through to closure.
* Ensure customer requirements are administered in a timely, controlled and recorded manner.
* Maintain accurate charging processes and an auditable trail.
Key Experiences and Qualifications
* Excellent computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Word & Excel)
* Previous administration experience
* Good numeric skills – including accuracy
Technical Skills and Behavioural Competencies
* Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and numeracy skills
* Good level of financial understanding
* Flexibility
