We’re seeking a Process, Change and Governance Manager at Barclays to act as a key utility partner to front-line teams – providing subject matter expertise on processes, procedures, risk and control frameworks, and change initiatives. This is a highly visible role that bridges operational execution and strategic transformation, ensuring that client journeys are mapped, optimised, and managed within a robust control environment.
To be successful in this role, you should have experience with:
1. Excellent understanding of end-to-end lending lifecycle processes, from origination to servicing and distribution.
2. Project management experience, with a track record of delivering change and transformation in a complex operational environment.
3. Ability to manage senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Some other highly valued skills may include:
* Excellent working knowledge of governance, risk, and control frameworks within a banking or financial services context.

This role will be located at our Manchester office.
Purpose of the role
To support Wholesale Lending with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
* Support Wholesale Lending initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution through lending technical expertise.
* Monitor the bank’s lending operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
* Collaborate across teams to align and improve Wholesale Lending processes.
* Identify areas for process improvement and recommend changes.
* Develop and implement procedures and controls to mitigate risks and ensure operational efficiency.
* Create reports and presentations on performance and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
* Stay informed on industry trends to adopt best practices.
* Participate in projects aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Advise on decision-making, contribute to policy development, and collaborate with other functions.
* Lead a team in performing complex tasks, set objectives, and coach employees.
