As an Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure, while also managing and automating cloud operations to streamline the processes. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery. Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and services. Manage and automate cloud operations using tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Monitor. Requirements: Must have knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Certifications in Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, or Azure Solutions Architect, is a plus. At least 3 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically on the Microsoft Azure platform. Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, design, and implementation principles and practices. Proficient in cloud scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps, and Azure Monitor. This role is based in Manchester and is 4 days a week in the office and allows for 1 day a week remote. Salary circa £60,000 to £70,000 plus benefits.
