Job Overview We wish to appoint a passionate and inspiring Teacher of Science to join a forward thinking and successful faculty with a team of specialists including a Curriculum Leader, Teaching and Learning Lead and Subject Leaders. ‘A’ level science is taught in all three specialisms and the department offers a range of extra-curricular activities, both in and out of school. Candidates are welcomed from any specialism. The science faculty is a key curriculum area of the school where results are significantly above the national average in both combined and individual sciences. As a large and progressive faculty there is a suite of ten science laboratories. There is also a team of technicians who support the area from a central requisition hub in the science area. We are looking for a candidate who is inspiring, dynamic and has a passion for teaching Science to join our team and continue to grow a joy of learning in all our students. This position would equally suit an experienced teacher or an early career teacher for whom excellent induction and support is provided.
