Under close supervision of the Assistant Director of Military & Veteran Services, this position will serve as primary contact and advocate for military-affiliated students at the College and as the secondary School Certifying Official. Will provide consultation, guidance, referral, and advocacy services for a diverse military population. Serve as the liaison between students and the Veterans Administration. Serve as liaison to support services for military-affiliated students. Assist in file origination, complete online certifications, collect data, and full reports. Request timely payments for veterans. Work with Veterans Readiness & Employment Counselors to coordinate student enrollment and benefit payment. Prepare records for state and federal audits (VA Compliance Surveys) as requested by the Assistant Director of Military & Veteran Services. Ensure the VA program's integrity and report irregularities as appropriate. Assist in all areas of student service, database and records management, and account reconciliation as needed. Minimum Qualifications:
· Relevant related work or on the job experience.
· Experience with account reconciliation and relational databases such as but not limited to NAVIGATE.
· Willingness to work at all campus locations.
