Health & Safety Consultant Home Based – Client Site Visits (Nottingham/Lincoln/Grantham)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 + Car Allowance
Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with consultancy experience or multi sector experience? We have a fantastic opportunity for you working as a Health and Safety Consultant for a well-respected consultancy providing high level professional advice and guidance to their wide-ranging clients. The role is home based with travel to clients sites across your region.
Responsibilities:
1. Attend various client sites and conduct Health & Safety risk assessments and audits
2. Provide bespoke Health and Safety documentation and management systems to clients’ customers
3. Carry out and create specific client risk assessments
4. Create Health & Safety Management reports
5. Identify client requirements through surveying client premises
6. Conduct safety audits
7. Advise, guide and coach all personnel with the implementation of the Company Procedures
8. Ensure needs and expectations are met in accordance with contracted services
9. Advise on current occupational Health & Safety and environmental legislation
10. Conduct audits and inspections of health & safety practices across the business
11. Provide client training as required on service and use of Health and Safety management system
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required:
* Experience in consultancy or multi-sector
* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* GradIOSH on a definitive IPD programme to achieve CMIOSH status
* Engaging Health and Safety Professional with excellent people skills and a can-do approach
* Excellent communication and relationship building skills
* Adaptable team member
