Your Role
As a key member of our team, reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will:
* Manage and deliver work packages, both self-delivered and sub-contracted.
* Oversee a variety of works, including Site Setup, Bulk Earthworks, Road Pavement construction, and more.
* Provide civil support for both temporary and permanent power, water management, and temporary works.
* Engage in both pre-construction and construction phases, ensuring alignment with health, safety, and quality procedures.
* Liaise with client technical, delivery, and design teams, as well as manage specialist subcontractors.
* Supervise and mentor engineering staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Produce essential construction documentation from the early stages of projects.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
* Essential:
o Experience in Pavement Construction, Bulk Excavation, and large-scale reinforced concrete structures.
o Proficiency in work package production, including stakeholder planning and hazard screening.
o Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and supply chain packages effectively.
o Strong understanding of construction processes and software packages.
o Knowledge of NEC4 contracts and Health & Safety requirements.
o Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
o Current and valid CSCS Card and a Full Driving Licence.
* Desirable:
o Experience in major projects, particularly in a nuclear regulated environment.
o Degree qualified in a construction-related field.
o Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor experience.
