We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Programme Manager to support and drive execution of key strategic initiatives for the CMO, including Diversity4Tech and the CMO Circle. These programmes are central to our brand, community engagement, and commitment to equity and leadership in the tech and marketing industries.

As Programme Manager, you'll be responsible for organising workflows, managing timelines, coordinating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders, industry research and ensuring high-quality execution of events, content, and campaigns tied to these initiatives. This is a cross-functional role ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, communication, creativity and bringing complex ideas to life.

About The Team
Marketing is the cohesive force across the GSMA that strategically positions the organisation's work and the industry's significance across select channels and owned platforms to engage diverse stakeholders, drive impact, influence thinking and attract audiences, sponsors and partners.

With an increasing number of platforms and reduced attention spans, our content must be sophisticated, personalised and highly curated. Our channel mix is evolving, by region, to attract the right audience to the right content, achieving cut-through on board and organisational priorities.

And in an increasingly fractured world, in which people are feeling more and more aggrieved, we safeguard the GSMA's reputation so it can continue to operate at global scale.

About The Role
Diversity4Tech (D4T) Programme/Change The Face (60%)
The GSMA, together with its members, is committed to fostering equal opportunities for girls and women in STEM fields. This commitment is demonstrated through proactive collaborations with a range of international organisations and participation in global initiatives aimed at promoting digital gender equality.

* Through our D4T/Change The Face activities expand conversations to include the indisputable business case for diversity and inclusion in business
* Create a framework and narrative around the disparate work that is ongoing at the GSMA & our Members
* Identify and work with partners to fill gaps in the lifecycle where we currently don't have influence – i.e. stereotypes believed by school age children & supporting women selecting STEM in post-secondary
* Build on the D4T MWC Barcelona track by elevating content, through Leadership & Board engagement
* Incorporate this topic into our Main stage (keynote) line-up

CMO Circle (40%)
Our Invitation-only CMO community operates at the intersection of technology and creativity. The GSMA currently engages Policy, Technology and Strategy groups but leaves out Marketing professionals which is an increasingly strategic discipline that typically has responsibility for spend across our events, external comms, PR, social & corporate reputation.

* The community will spark pivotal conversations, engage with meaningful content, and profile CMOs from the community on various MWC stages
* Through networking and community building, showcase the Marketing work and influence of the industry – GLOMO award
* Leverage CMO's as an additional point of executive contact within Member organisations to improve 'stickiness' and deepen the value proposition of the GSMA
* Influence this group by ensuring they are part of the conversation around industry priorities and fostering greater collaboration and / or alignment on key topics

Key Responsibilities

* Working with the CMO and other internal stakeholders to research, design and bring to life the programme
* Coordinating and delivering the program whilst reconciling the company interdependencies
* Manage internal stakeholders and a cross-functional team for collaborative input
* Coordinate with GSMA regional teams as to streamline D4T activities across different GSMA event platforms
* Identify and solidify partners
* Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables for the Women for Tech, D4T and CMO Circle initiatives
* Build communication, create content and promotional plans including events, webinars, roundtables, and community engagements, both virtual and in-person
* Work with external vendors, sponsors, and partners to ensure seamless execution.
* Responsible for sourcing, booking, and managing all speakers for D4T programme events
* Help manage assets such as guest lists, event materials, promotional campaigns, and feedback forms
* Track engagement and gather insights to help evolve the initiatives over time

About You

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong project management skills i.e managing timelines and workflow for complex projects
* Experience in diversity and inclusion initiatives
* Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Proficient in data analysis, reporting and research
* Passion for promoting and advocating women in tech, equity, leadership or community engagement
