Our public sector client seeks a Temporary Ongoing Higher Clerical Officer based in Enniskillen
Hours of work Mon-Friday 9-5 (37.5 hours per week)
Rate of pay £12.31 per hour

Duties

1. Provide a full administrative support service to the team and other Professionals/departments.

2. Effectively deal with telephone calls from patients, relatives, parents/carers, community teams and general practitioners and other individuals or organisations, taking messages, ensuring follow-up and resolving any problems as appropriate

3. Contribute to the organisation of the office carrying out routine administrative duties which may include the development and maintenance of an efficient filing system, a brought forward system, mail distribution, photo copying, binding and ensuring relevant files are available for meetings.

4. Deal with incoming mail and direct correspondence to the Team or as appropriate deal with routine items which may include the writing and drafting of routine letters for signature.

5. Facilitate communication by liaising with relevant staff, departments, hospitals, the general public and external agencies.

6. Dealing with telephone calls and enquiries and taking relevant action as appropriate.

7. Type letters, memorandums and minutes. A high level of word processing skills will be required and the post holder will also be required to develop skills on Microsoft Office software and other computer packages as and when required.

8. Assist in the production of Power Point presentations required by department

Essential Criteria

9. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C) to include English Language and Maths or equivalent qualifications or higher standard of education

AND

10. 1 year administrative/ clerical experience

OR

11. NVQ Level II Business & Administration or equivalent and 1 year administrative/ clerical experience

OR

12. 3 years administrative / clerical experience

AND

13. In addition to one of the above 6 months experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word is also essential.
14. Must have have administrative experience in co-ordinating meetings and taking/transcribing minute
