Role Overview: As part of our bar team, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional service to guests across a range of venues at Wincanton Racecourse. You’ll have the chance to work in: Hospitality Bar Service: Upscale bars in restaurants, boxes, and private suites, where you’ll serve premium drinks, wines, mix basic cocktails, and offer a high level of guest interaction. Public Bars: Bustling bars open to all racegoers, where you’ll be pouring pints, serving wine and spirits, handling payments, and keeping up with a fast-paced service style. Your key responsibilities will include: Accurately pouring and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks Providing friendly, efficient, and professional customer service Maintaining a clean and organised bar area Handling payments and operating tills (where required) Restocking fridges and supplies during and after service Working as part of a larger team to ensure smooth service flow Upholding licensing laws, Challenge 25 policy, and health & safety standards ✅ What We’re Looking For: Confidence and energy in a busy service environment A positive, team-focused attitude Strong communication skills Previous bar experience is ideal but not essential- training provided Ability to work under pressure with a smile!
