We are delighted to be recruiting for a Debrief Clerk/Transport Administrators for a well-established company in the Leeds area. This is a 6 weeks tempoarary role, with review to be taken on permenantly after the 6 week period. The role you will involve liaising with drivers upon return to depot and dealing with day-to-day operations regarding vehicle records. Duties will include, but are not limited to: * Debrief returning vehicles. * Report any defects, damages, or safety issues. * Communicate with Drivers regarding the daily runs and any issues that may occur. * Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles * Download returns sheets and some other admin duties. * Update Daily statistics regarding the depot. * You will often be required to help lift heavy goods. The ideal candidate will: * Understand transport legislation and logistics operations is desirable. * React to problems promptly. * Strong communication skills. * Competent use of Microsoft, particularly Excel. * Be confident to challenge vehicle issues with our drivers. * Should be physically fit and be able to lift heavy loads.
