Job Title: Assembly Technician
Location: Long Crendon
Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (1 hour lunch)
Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Assemble cable and fibre optic assemblies to works orders and technical drawings
Terminate connectors using crimping and soldering techniques
Build fibre optic assemblies to manufacturer standards (full training provided)
Prepare cables, connectors, and sub‑assemblies for production
Support repair and rework tasks as required
Conduct visual inspections of completed assemblies
Perform basic electrical and fibre testing (training provided)
Ensure all assemblies meet specifications and internal quality standards
Complete production, inspection, and test documentation accurately
Report any issues or discrepancies to the Team Leader
Pick and prepare materials accurately from stock
Follow all health, safety, and quality procedures at all timesEssential Skills:
Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity
Ability to follow technical instructions accurately
Reliable, punctual, and organised
Basic IT literacyDesirable Skills:
Previous experience in assembly, workshop, or manufacturing environments
Experience with crimping or soldering
