Mediation Plus is looking for a Neighbourhood Programme Lead to join our team, as we step into our next chapter, following our merger with Brighton and Hove Independent Mediation Service.
This is an exciting new role which will oversee the operational management of the Sussex-wide neighbourhood mediation and conflict coaching programme, working alongside a small team of Neighbourhood Case Coordinators. As our new Neighbourhood Programme Lead, you will have overall responsibility for the delivery of Neighbourhood Mediation and Conflict Coaching, ensuring the service meets its KPIs and contributing to financial stability. You will be working closely with our CEO and managing a small team of skilled Neighbourhood coordinators responsible for service delivery.
Part-time role, 22 hours per week, including two days in our Brighton office. DBS check and some travel to in-person meetings across Sussex will be required. A background in mediation is not essential and training will be provided.
We believe everyone is capable of great things and are committed to providing a recruitment process built on equality, fairness, and respect. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age. We are committed to building a diverse and representative team. Where lawful and appropriate, we may use positive action under Section 159 of the Equality Act 2010, giving preference to a candidate from an underrepresented group where this is a proportionate means of addressing disadvantage or underrepresentation. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement listed, particularly those under ‘Desirable’.
Deadline for applications 11th May 2026, interviews to commence in the last week of May.
