The Role:
Join Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services—rated Outstanding by OFSTED—and play a vital role in improving outcomes for young people.
As a Senior Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting critical functions within Children’s Services. You’ll work closely with social workers, managers, and partner agencies to deliver high-quality administrative support that underpins effective safeguarding, care planning and ensures the smooth delivery of services that protect and empower young people and their families.
What you’ll do:
1. Child Protection Coordination – ensuring accurate records, scheduling meetings, and supporting statutory processes.
2. Early Help Hub Arrangements – assisting with referrals, maintaining data systems, and liaising with professionals to provide timely support for families.
3. Care Leaver Funding Support – managing financial processes, tracking payments, and ensuring compliance with policy.

5. Proficient in IT systems and experienced in handling sensitive information securely.
