Saturday mornings – 1 in 4 per month, paid separately
£27,000 - £31,000 p/a dependant on experience
28 days holiday per annum (inclusive of bank holidays)

About the role:
As the Transport Clerk, you will be the primary point of contact for customers in our busy transport office, supporting the Transport Manager. Your responsibilities will include handling enquiries, negotiating prices, and resolving issues promptly.
You will operate the weighbridge and ensure accurate record-keeping for all transactions. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset along with strong interpersonal skills to effectively deliver outstanding value to our customers.
Additionally, you will assist the General Manager and Managing Director with key administrative and strategic tasks as needed.
The duties of this position are set out below:
Sales Coordinator (Primary Role):
* Co-owning incoming enquiries and inputting of orders
* Operating the weighbridge, recording waste movements in and out of Unit 17
* Supporting customers' orders and queries.
* Providing customer quotations for bespoke job
* Completing cost analysis of potential work and informing pricing strategy
* Building strong relationships with brokers and becoming key point of contact
* Handling customer complaints and offering practical solutions
* Ensuring availability of sufficient skip stock
* Compiling and sharing customer reports
* Assisting with producing sales invoices
* Support the routing of vehicles to achieve maximum efficiency and meeting customer requirements
* Producing waste transfer notes
* Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly clerical records for invoicing and legal requirements
* Serving in Rugby Fuel Supplies shop as required
* Other tasks as required by your manager or MD
Skills Required:

* Proficient in Windows Office suite, Excel, Word etc

* A head for numbers and analytical mindset
* Experienced managing a CRM system i.e. Salesforce, Mailchimp etc (desirable)
