My client is currently looking for a HR Assistant to join their team in Blackpool.
The successful candidate will be the first point of contact to the business regarding HR administration related queries, managing and completing daily HR work and administration. You will support ad-hoc HR projects as required and provide assistance to the Head of HR and Senior HR Business Partner where required.
Role responsibilities
1. Ensure the HR systems are maintained with current information
2. Managing the HR mailbox ensuring that queries are dealt with
3. Seek ways to improve the service HR provides to the business
4. Complete general HR administration for joiners and leavers including onboarding and offboarding, payroll instruction, performance management and holiday
5. Manage the length of service awards
6. Help the HR team to deliver training initiatives by organising all logistics including booking meeting rooms, printing training packs, liaising with vendors for training materials etc.
7. Manage all aspects of the onboarding process for all new joiners
8. Support the HR team with managing the recruitment process across the company
9. Manage work experience and internship requests in line with business needs
10. Manage the relationship with the pre-employment screening provider
11. Work with the HR team to ensure that all HR processes are compliant with GDPR legislation
12. Ensure all training sessions run smoothly and on time
