Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Aerospace manufacturing customer based in Hinckley, who are seeking a skilled Welder to join their high-performing team. The company is a leading supplier of precision components and assemblies, including pipework, ducts, and fasteners, to OEMs and Tier 1s across both civil and military Aerospace sectors.
Responsibilities
* Perform manual welding of metal pipes, tubing, and components.
* Set up and calibrate welding equipment to match required program specifications.
* Carry out orbital welding processes on metal pipes and tubing.
* Prepare tubes for welding, including ultrasonic cleaning and manual/automatic cutting.
Requirements
* Recognised qualification in welding.
* Strong organisational skills, with experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives preferred.
* Proficient in analysing and applying data to support quality and efficiency improvements.
* Self-motivated and capable of performing under pressure.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-quality aerospace environment.
* Prior experience in the aerospace industry is desirable.
