We're currently recruiting a Transport Coordinator, to work from our East Kilbride Operation Centre, G75 0SB. The Transport Coordinator supports the efficient day-to-day operation of the Transport department within the Operations Centre, providing key administrative and operational assistance. The salary for this position is £29,208 per annum. Key Responsibilities: Support the OC team with OS tickets and general administrative tasks Review incident reports, TAIL forms, and missed collections, escalating where required Liaise with internal teams and Central Dispatch to resolve delivery/collection issues Assist with invoice processing, driver payroll (MiDriver Pay), and resource management Support driver communications, meetings, and maintain accurate records/minutes Conduct audits (e.g. camera audits) and ensure compliance with Operator’s Licence and site regulations Monitor dashboards (e.g. speeding) and report findings Assist with route checks, service planning, and driver scheduling/availability Provide operational support and oversee the department in the Transport Manager’s absence Skills & Experience: Strong organisational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and customer service abilities High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-focused approach Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience with reporting and administrative processes Knowledge of Driver Hours, Working Time Regulations, and Operator Licence compliance (desirable) What we offer you in return: Monday to Friday working Time For You: Relax with 23 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day for a personal special occasion.
