The Wait Assistant plays a key support role in ensuring seamless service, impeccable table presentation, and an exceptional guest experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Support servers in meeting and anticipating guest needs throughout the dining experience Assist with opening and closing duties to ensure the dining room is fully prepared and properly reset Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and service areas Stock and restock server stations with necessary supplies throughout the shift Take direction from servers, hosts/hostesses, and managers to ensure smooth service flow Remove extra place settings, clear soiled items promptly, and reset tables with precision and care Communicate guest feedback, concerns, or service issues to the Manager in a timely and professional manner What We’re Looking For A positive, team-oriented attitude Strong communication skills A genuine passion for hospitality Exceptional attention to detail — from pristine table settings to timely clearing and resetting Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment Reliability and willingness to support the team wherever needed If you’re service-minded, take pride in the small details that elevate a dining experience, and thrive in a collaborative hospitality environment, we’d love to meet you! Qualifications Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not mandatory Experience working in a fast-paced environment is beneficial Required Skills and Abilities: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage time effectively Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety and hygiene standards Positive attitude and willingness to assist in various tasks as needed
