Role: Strategy, Governance & Leadership

• Strategic Vision: Set the overarching SHEQ strategy, translating complex requirements into clear, simple site rules.
• Leadership: Build, lead and mentor the SHEQ team while maintaining full oversight of the departmental budget.
• Cultural Advocacy: Influence the business vision, setting ambitious targets and acting as a trusted confidant.
• Lead Ownership: Own the H&S management system and ensure total legal compliance.
• Site Engagement: Maintain a strong site presence to support delivery teams and directly improve operational performance.
• Quality Culture: Drive a "right first time" culture.
• Technical Excellence: Intervene early in first-fix quality.
• Sustainability: Lead environmental compliance.
• Strategy Implementation: Work in partnership with teams to implement and embed strategy.
• Behavioural Change: Drive safety improvements and ensure team competence through defined training standards.
