Requirements:Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance & Agricultural Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring regulatory compliance, managing documentation, and overseeing operational activities related to farm and AD plant compliance management. The successful candidate will combine strong administrative skills with practical agricultural knowledge, supporting environmental, leading on health, and safety standards while driving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Documentation
* Maintain accurate documentation for gas trailer operations
* Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Environmental Agency.
* Support the Compliance Manager with all regulatory requirements and reporting.
* Coordinate internal audits and assist with external audit preparation and attendance.
* Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations and maintain compliance records.
Procurement & Inventory
* Manage procurement of supplies, consumables, PPE, chemicals, and equipment.
* Arrange calibrations and servicing of machinery and equipment.
* Monitor and restock internal forms and essential materials.
Health & Safety
* Implement and manage Health & Safety policies across operations.
* Conduct staff inductions and ensure training compliance.
* Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies.
Farm Management
* Manage contracts with farmers and landowners for crop production and assist in the digestate spreading.
* Record and analyse crop figures, soil data, and farm management practices.
* Provide farm budget with a view to year-on-year implementation of increasing revenue using diverse streams.
Operational Oversight
* Inspect equipment and fields to ensure proper functioning and crop maturity.
* Recommend procedural improvements for digestate spreading and crop works.
* Purchase machinery, equipment, and agricultural supplies.
* Assist with the clamping of crops and filling of solid feeders as directed.
Financial & Reporting
* Prepare financial and operational reports in Excel.
* Evaluate financial statements and develop budget proposals.
* Collate and maintain NVZ plans and compliance documentation.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Agricultural based degree
* Proven experience in Compliance Practices and Agricultural Development (preferred)
* Strategic Planning
* Ability to create forward-looking strategies for farm utilisation that align with environmental regulations, sustainability goals, and business objectives whilst optimising land use and overall operational performance.
* Strong organisational and documentation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
· The ideal candidate would live within 25miles of site and have access to a car.
