Red Sky Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor. We are seeking a Design Manager to lead multi-discipline engineering teams and provide technical solutions for complex infrastructure projects within the water and wastewater industry.
The Role:
As a Design Manager, you will oversee the delivery of design solutions for clean water, wastewater, and biosolids treatment systems, pipelines, trunk mains, sewers, pumping stations, and networks. You will be responsible for managing the technical compliance, quality, and appropriateness of solutions delivered, ensuring they align with project schedules and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage design consultants and engineering teams to deliver project solutions.
2. Take ownership and accountability for the technical appropriateness of project solutions throughout the project life cycle.
3. Ensure designs comply with customer and statutory standards, regulations, and specifications.
4. Manage the development of robust, reliable, and maintainable asset designs.
5. Oversee project engineering budgets and schedules, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions.
