Role Role & Responsibilities You will be a vital part of a team dedicated to supporting children and families within the fostering system. You will work closely with foster carers, social workers and other professionals to provide a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. This involves regular visits, assessments and helping build strong relationships. Main tasks include Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and creating care plans. Building strong relationships with foster carers and providing ongoing support. Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children. Maintaining accurate records and complying with relevant regulations. Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care. Requirements Degree in Social Work or equivalent. Significant experience working with children and families in a social work capacity. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time management skills. Experience with fostering or adoption is desirable but not essential. Full UK driving licence and access to a car. Commitment to upholding the highest standards of child protection. Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.
