Job Title: Hydrology & Water Resources Specialist

About the Role:
You'll be joining a specialist Catchment Science team delivering technical services and advice across water resources, hydrology, hydroecology, water quality and hydrogeology. The role will focus on contributing to investigations and models that support water resource planning and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to lead on projects, mentor junior colleagues, and develop innovative approaches.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to hydrological and water management aspects of WINEP investigations and WRMP inputs.
2. Develop rainfall-runoff models (e.g. GR6J), applying robust calibration techniques.
3. Support wider hydrology applications, including flow naturalisation and reservoir mass balance modelling.
4. Apply knowledge of demand management and water resources modelling tools (e.g. Aquator, PyWR, MISER).
