Workshop Operative
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to perm
Salary: £23,000–£28,000 per year (DOE)
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised Workshop Operative / Workshop Support Technician to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth running of our workshop, supporting logistics, stock control, and the final stages of product manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Inventory Management
1. Manage Goods In/Out, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with shipping providers.
2. Pack finished products securely and in line with established procedures.
3. Carry out regular and ad-hoc stock checks, resolve discrepancies, and maintain organised inventory.
4. Keep the workshop and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
5. A valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
Production Support
6. Assist Finishing and Assembly teams by preparing components, moving materials, and supporting basic assembly tasks.
7. Follow all company processes and contribute to compliance with the ISO9001 management system.
Required Skills & Attributes
8. Strong attention to detail.
9. Excellent organisational skills and accuracy in record keeping.
10. Punctual, reliable, and able to manage time effectively.
11. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently once trained.
12. Valid driving licence (essential).
13. Experience with ISO9001 is beneficial but not mandatory.
Working Hours
14. Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
15. Friday: Early finish at 1:30pm
