Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sports massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and the ability to tailor massage techniques to meet the individual needs of clients. This role is essential in promoting relaxation, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall well-being through therapeutic touch.
Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and health conditions.
* Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage, ensuring each session is customised for optimal results.
* Maintain a clean and welcoming treatment environment, adhering to hygiene standards and protocols.
* Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress while respecting confidentiality.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and provide guidance on self-care practices.
* Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in massage techniques through continuous professional development.
Requirements
* Valid certification or licensure in massage therapy from an accredited institution.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively address client concerns.
* Have a NVQ Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Sports Massage Therapy
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A compassionate approach with a focus on client comfort and satisfaction.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.

Pay: £13.52-£13.78 per hour
