Business Development Manager – Education Salary: Up to £65K Location: Home-based (UK-wide travel required – Midlands-based preferred) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role: We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading national care and education provider for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth across their specialist education services. In this key role, you will be responsible for increasing occupancy across schools and colleges, building strategic relationships with commissioners and stakeholders, and leading the development and marketing of new and existing educational services. You will work closely with senior leadership, operational and finance teams to identify opportunities, shape services, and align them with commissioning needs. This is a home-based role with regular UK travel, so flexibility and confidence in face-to-face relationship-building are essential. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and marketing of education services across the organisation Drive occupancy through proactive engagement with commissioners and local authorities Support and manage referral processes and work alongside education site teams Contribute to tenders, bids, and service modelling aligned with strategic goals Represent the organisation at promotional events and stakeholder meetings Work cross-functionally with operations and finance to ensure commercial viability About You: Proven experience in a business development role within education, care, or health sectors Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills Commercially astute with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities Confident communicator with experience influencing at a senior level Comfortable working independently with regular travel across the UK Why Apply?
