Job Overview

We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Health, Safety, Security and Wellbeing (HSSW) team. In this pivotal role, you’ll collaborate across the business to design and deliver analytical products that unlock high-value insights and drive strategic decision-making.

You’ll lead the development of dashboards, reports, and predictive models that reveal trends, detect anomalies, and uncover opportunities for performance improvement. With a strong grasp of business processes and a passion for data storytelling, you’ll help shape our data strategy, drive innovation, and elevate analytics maturity across the organisation.

This role offers the chance to lead small project teams, mentor analysts, and influence best practices in data governance, visualisation, and cloud analytics. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to make a meaningful impact through data, we’d love to hear from you.

About You

You’re a curious, solutions-focused analyst with a knack for turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You’re comfortable working across teams, translating business needs into data-driven solutions, and championing a culture of continuous learning.

You bring:

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst role

• Expertise in SQL, Python or R, and data visualisation tools like Power BI, QlikSense or Tableau

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks or Snowflake

• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, forecasting and machine learning

• A proactive mindset for identifying opportunities and driving data-led improvements

• Excellent communication skills and a talent for data storytelling

• Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Security and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR)

• A collaborative spirit and experience working cross-functionally

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with EcoOnline, FYLD or other H&S data systems

• Worked in Agile environments or regulated industries

• A passion for mentoring and upskilling others in data literacy

Package

This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a remote first approach with occasional visits to the Durrington or Falmer office when required.

We are offering a salary of up to £48K per annum depending on skills and experience as well as other benefits including:

• Generous pension up to 11% company contribution

• 25 days annual leave

• Life assurance equal to 4x salary

• Salary sacrifice electric car scheme (after 6 months service)

• Health Cash Plan

• Full funded eye tests

• Two paid volunteering days a year

• Occupational health service

• Discounts with over 800 popular retailers

• Digital GP service

• Study support may be available for job-related qualifications

• Competitive maternity leave and flexible return to work options

• Cycle to work scheme

Join our team and see how far your career could progress with a company committed to career progression, training and development opportunities, our customers and the environment.

Does this opportunity excite you but you’re not 100% sure if you meet all the requirements for the role? Or are you concerned that ‘normal’ office hours aren’t possible given your personal circumstances? Whilst we can’t accommodate every flexible working request, we’ll try to find a practical solution.
