About the Role

Are you meticulous, organised, and confident handling client money within a busy legal finance environment? We’re looking to build a new team of Accounts Administrators to play a key role in managing client account transactions and maintaining regulations and compliance. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team, ensuring accuracy, control, and exceptional service across all areas of the department.


What You’ll Do

* Checking, banking, and posting all client, currency, and deposit receipts
* Processing client and deposit payment requisitions accurately and promptly
* Managing inter‑ledger transfers (Client to Bill, Client to Disbursement, etc.)
* Reconciling daily bank movements and investigating unidentified receipts
* Assisting with opening and closing client, joint, and escrow bank accounts
* Ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) regulations
* Supporting year‑end audits and preparing client cash statements and reports
* Handling ad‑hoc queries from fee earners, partners, and external stakeholders


What We’re Looking For

* Has experience in accounts administration ideally within a mid-sized corporateor professional services firm
* Possesses a solid understanding regulations, rules and AML procedures
* Is highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Has great communication skills and the confidence to build internal and external relationships
* Is proficient in Excel and financial systems (ideally ERP like SAP, MS Dynamics or Oracle)
* Works well under pressure and can manage deadlines effectively
