Salary: £31,537 - £34,434 per annum (Grade 5)
Hours: 36.66 per week
Based: Spindles Offices, Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub

Role Overview:
Working as part of a team alongside Independent Domestic Violence advisers (IDVA) you will engage individuals requiring advice and support, particularly in relation to domestic violence, and supporting the IDVAs by recording information on the case management system and making arrangements for interventions which will help keep victims safe for example through referrals to other support services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Answering calls from clients contacting the service, gathering information, providing advice and signposting and completing assessments for support including DASH Risk Assessments;
* Recording details of clients and the support provided on the case recording system, and Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference System
* Implementing support for victims such as referrals to services, arrangements for ensuring they are in safe accommodation and supporting group work.


Key Requirements:

To succeed in this role you will need as a minimum:

* Experience of working in a multi-agency setting to support individuals who are vulnerable, for example experiencing domestic abuse or mental health issues
* Interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of different professionals, and to deal with situations where clients may be upset or angry
* Good organisational skills with the ability to complete tasks effectively within a busy service
